Contemporary Art Talks with Alitash Kebede

Great privilege & honor to spend the afternoon with Alitash Kebede. Born & educated in Ethiopia, Kebede established herself in Los Angeles as a pioneering dealer in contemporary art, particularly active in support of African American artists. Kebede recognized early & championed the careers of Jacob Lawrence, Romaine Bearden, Kerry James Marshall, Charles White & many others. Many great stories & welcome opportunity to discuss our June Wayne Collection, and Kebede’s fascinating adventures! Looking forward to continuing the conversation & any opportunity to collaborate with such a smart person & great soul!
