The River: The Wearable Sculpture of Najvan

We are delighted to present The River, the wearable sculpture of Najvan. A keen observer of the movements of wind, water, and shadows, Najvan is inspired by her adopted city of LA’s natural beauties and palm trees “rooted in the earth and touching the sky.”

Najvan’s materials and shapes radiate the strength and resilience of the natural world and can be worn or displayed on the accompanying stand. Each sculpture is unique, signed, and presented in a box suitable for safekeeping or gifting.

Maryam Najvan was born by the river in the ancient town of Isfahan, Iran. Fascinated by nature, and the stories of local farmers working the fertile soil, she experimented from a young age with drawing and sculptural forms. She moved to Los Angeles in 2017.
