What better way to celebrate Bastille Day than a visit on its eve from Fily Keita? Born in Mali, with close ties to his home country, as well as Senegal, Côte d’ Ivoire, & France, Keita has become one of the most respected & beloved dealers of African tribal art in the world. MB Abram Galleries was delighted to have a visit from Keita, who provided illuminating insights on a number of pieces in our African collection, including an old Moba figure and an Ibibio mask. We learned so much chatting with him, both at the gallery and over drinks at Brack Shop Tavern. Thank you Fily! Happy Bastille Day all!
