COMMENTS
Scores of artists have looked outward in creating landscapes and portraits. In her approach to natural phenomena June Wayne (1918-2011) looked inward into our DNA structure, the code of life.

In “The Other Babel” Wayne playfully references the chatter of our genes, that work complemented by “Ghost Code”, where vestigial portraits of Wayne and her mother Dorothy subvert any notion of a purely scientific rendering.
