Inspiring day with Jan Haag on occasion of Seattle Art Fair. Born Marysville WA 1933, Haag founded the Directing Workshop for Women at the American Film Institute (AFI) & walked across several continents, memorializing her travels through Asia, Europe & Mexico in a series of free form contemporary needlepoint diaries later exhibited at the Seattle Art Museum & several international shows. Close friend of Lenore Tawney (1907-2007) & June Wayne (1918-2011) & the gallery’s since 1980. Poet, philosopher, free spirit.
