COMMENT
Echoing Kafka, Wayne explores the nature of perception and of victory becoming a zero-sum game. As the creatures run across the canvas they take on characteristics of the other. “By the time the race is over, they have actually changed places. The victor becomes the loser, and vice versa, and nobody actually wins.”
