COMMENTS
June Wayne’s focus on the skies and outer cosmos, gave her courage and “the positive thing that made it possible to survive what else was going on”.
In “Blu Curl” Wayne pays homage in acrylic and styrene to Van Gogh’s “Starry Night” .

COMMENTS
This painting, with an optical inversion of Wayne’s Blu Curl, pays homage to the Parisian gallery La Demeure, where she had a solo exhibition of tapestries and lithographs in 1974.
