A Conversation with John Molloy: Rounding the Circle, Native American And Contemporary Art.

The art of the 19th century Native American reflected the enormous changes the people were going through.

Art Dealer and New York Gallerist John Molloy recently shared his thoughts on antique Native American Art, its relation to contemporary art, and the art market today. The conversation includes Molloy's reflections on the writings of Marshall McLuhan, with whom Molloy studied.

Molloy is the past president of the Authentic Tribal Art Dealers Association, and a consultant for Christie's. His gallery on the upper East Side of NYC, from which he spoke, is open by appointment.
